Our Wedding

Julia and Michael first met June 21, 2021 at BMO Harris Bank in Park Ridge, IL. It was Julia's first day, while Michael was already working there. Their initial interaction was a handshake. After sharing lunch together every day and enjoying talking to each other all day, they became official on July 18, 2021. Following their first summer together, Julia and Michael entered a long-distance relationship that lasted three years. Julia returned to The University of Iowa to complete her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Finance. During this time, Michael made the drive to Iowa City every month to spend quality time with Julia. They filled the visits with fun activities, such as attending football games, dancing at their favorite bar, Brothers, enjoying too much pizza at The Airliner, and binge-watching Love Island. Whenever Julia returned home for breaks, Julia and Michael traveled together to various destinations, including Door County, WI, Frankenmuth, MI, Gatlinburg, TN, Lake Geneva, WI, and Traverse City, MI. After three long years, Julia graduated with two diplomas and Michael transitioned from banking to construction project management. More importantly, they were finally reunited. In May/June 2024, they traveled to Poland with Michael's family to celebrate and visit family. Finally, after years of waiting and planning, Michael proposed to Julia on September 21, 2024, in Wisconsin Dells, WI - exactly three years and three months after they first met. Julia enthusiastically said yes! Julia and Michael are excited to celebrate their love with you on July 19, 2025, marking four years and 1 day together.
