In 2018, two people met the in way our parents had warned us about - on the internet.

Tom grew up in Succasunna, New Jersey. He attended College at Rochester Institute of Technology, and eventually moved over to Buffalo where he got a job and settled into the Buffalo life. To meet more Buffalonians, Tom downloaded Bumble.

Julia is a Buffalo native. She's spent her life here, attending University at Buffalo and Erie County College. She was ready for change and downloaded Bumble.

In September of that year, Tom and Julia met up for coffee with the intention of just getting to know each other 'off' the dating app. They sat at Cafe Aroma in downtown Buffalo for hours just talking. Something about Tom must have felt secure, because Julia left her purse on the table next to him when she went to the bathroom. Tom took this as a test of ethics, Julia just forgot.

After many dates, Tom decided to cook Julia dinner at his apartment. He made his sisters famous mozzarella stuffed turkey meatballs and pasta. Julia brought over homemade cookies. Apparently, their love language was food from the start, because they haven't stopped cooking and sharing their dishes since.

Together, they live in their 94 year old home in Amherst, New York, with their three cats and many plants. They love to spend their time traveling to different states, Canada, and the Jersey shore. Experiencing life and making more memories together is what they do best, and they can't wait to share the best memory of all with everyone - their wedding!
