On August 22, 2016, the first day of the fall semester at Chestnut Hill College, Julianna and Justin met in an Intermediate Accounting class. Julianna has never seen this guy before as he was a new transfer coming in that semester, but realized shortly after that she will be seeing a lot of him and his massive head since he decided to sit right in front of her. Julianna sat in the last seat in the back of the room and will never know why she did, but came to the realization that sitting in the back of the room as a small girl would make it difficult to see the board especially when a guy like Justin sits in front of her. Needless to say, this sparked conversation because Julianna obviously couldn't see and Justin was too worried about Julianna not seeing to actually pay attention...

Justin was not only a new transfer coming into Chestnut Hill, but a baseball player who was also suite mates with Julianna's friend Dylan, who played baseball as well and is currently one of the groomsman in Justin's party. Well, Julianna did not know any of that until there was a big Intermediate Accounting test and Dylan texts her and says "Can I give my friend Justin your number? He said there's a big accounting test and that he doesn't know anything". Well from there, the rest is for the books... literally.

Justin called Julianna to study, promise! Yes, Justin called. Julianna was beyond shocked and knew this guy was different because he called instead of sending texts. After the initial phone call to study, he was already making plans to get to know her. He even invited her to go to a party with the guys on the baseball team where they made horrific jungle juice, but instead bought and delivered a bottle of wine to her house - definitely said a lot about Justin! Anyway, they studied, got to know each other, and became friends. Julianna and Justin were there for each other through the good, the bad, and everything in between and 7 months later, they knew that this friendship was special. Julianna and Justin received more than just an A on that accounting test, but also a love that developed into a forever thing and they both knew it too.

Fast forward a couple years, they bought a house in April of 2020, and then wanted to grow their family and found their baby labradoodle whom they decided to name Teddy on September 30, 2020. He is truly their baby and they forget what life was like before him.

Julianna and Justin have a house and a dog together, the only thing missing was the ring. After years of Julianna's grandparents and family asking where's the ring, it finally happened on October 29, 2022... Justin proposed to Julianna surrounded by family and their dogs Teddy, Cody, and Benji in the backyard of their home.

From the moment Justin met Julianna, he knew they were destined for one another to the point where he made a note on his phone of Julianna's preferences on the best proposal. If Julianna saw a random person's proposal through facebook or instagram, she'd turn to Justin and say "Come here Justin, look how cute this is", meanwhile Justin was taking notes the whole time based off my comments. He knew what Julianna wanted and waited for the perfect time to make sure he could check off every preference that was on the list. Justin made it happen on his terms and on Julianna's without her knowing. It was the most perfect, romantic, personal proposal - all of the qualities that Julianna loves about Justin.

A home, a dog, and finally a ring.

People have said and might say that Julianna and Justin might have done things backwards, but as one may know, "when you know, you know" and there's no timetable or order with love. At the end of the day, they found their happily ever after and the rest of their love story is in the books....maybe just not the accounting ones :)
