The ceremony will take place at The Crossing (Lewes Church of Christ) located at 15183 Coastal Highway, Milton, DE 19968. The reception will follow at Lighthouse Cove Event Center located at 1301 Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. (This is the same address as Hyatt Place Dewey Beach).

Yes, the Burrill-Aviles wedding block is available from November 21st-25th, 2024 at The Hyatt Place Dewey Beach. There is no minimum stay requirement. There is a complimentary breakfast for all guests. See the "Travel" Tab for more information to reserve your room.

There will be no transportation provided for guests to/from the ceremony. There is plenty of parking at The Crossing Church and free parking for guests who are staying at The Hyatt Place. The reception will take place at the hotel, so no driving is required to return to your room at the end of the night!

The dress code is formal. Men typically wear a suit with dress shoes and a tie. Women can choose a floor-length gown, cocktail dress, or chic pantsuit.

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors. However, the reception venue has an outside patio as well as a private beach area, so guests are more than welcome to go in and out as they please.

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a dinner buffet with a selection of meat, fish, side dishes and salad.

An open bar will be available for the duration of the reception, from 5-10pm. If this is your first time in Dewey Beach, be sure to give the Orange Crush a try!

For those who want to party past 10pm, you can join the Bride & Groom for live music at The Starboard, a popular bar just a few blocks from the reception.
