Transport to Vail

Vail is best served by two airports: Eagle County Regional Airport and Denver International Airport.

Eagle County Regional Airport is approximately 30 minutes from Vail. While the closest airport, there will be fewer flight options and prices will typically be higher. From the airport to Vail, transportation options include regional bus service, car rentals, or hired cars.

Denver International Airport is approximately 2-hours by car from Vail without traffic. Transportation options include shuttles (prices typically start around ~$80pp though Epic Mountain Express) or a rental car.

Discounted rates for Epic Mountain Express transportation from either airport can be booked through the below link:

Vail has an extensive free bus system serving the town, so a car will not be necessary once you have arrived. Depending on your accommodations, parking may cost an additional $40-$50 per day if renting a car.

Places to Stay

Vail has numerous accommodation options to fit your needs. Due to the varied formats and price points (which can still be quite high even in the summer), we do not have a formal room block in order to let everyone choose the accommodations that work best for them. To help guide your decision, below are some options we recommend.

Vail Racquet Club

The Racquet Club is located in East Vail, approximately 5 miles from the village (accessible via a ~30 minute ride on the free local bus system, which runs hourly in the summer). The Club has 1-3 bedroom condos for rent, and includes amenities such as a pool, gym, tennis, and pickleball. This is a great option for folks looking for a more laid back option outside of the heart of town.

We have secured a special promotional rate for 3-night stays or longer ($195 / night for 1 bedroom, $290 / night for 2 bedroom, $390 / night for 3 bedroom, all prices pre-tax). Please book directly through Racquet Club website (list prices will be higher) and send your confirmation to julianneandaidanwedding@gmail.com - we will have the Club adjust your pricing on the back end. Visit https://vailracquetclub.com/ to book.

Vail Village

These options will be the most convenient to the ceremony and transportation to the reception, and will be in the heart of Vail.

The Sonnenalp Hotel

The Sebastian

The Lodge at Vail

Tivoli Lodge

Vail has numerous other options, including many condos and homes available to rent through services such as VRBO and Airbnb. For anyone planning to stay outside of Vail Village, we encourage use of the free bus system to get into town (routes and schedules are available online).
