Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Attire is semi-formal. Lauxmont Farms Japanese Garden is an indoor/outdoor venue. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass and small areas of uneven ground. The reception will be held under a tent with brick paving and a dance floor. Please keep this in mind when selecting footwear.

Registry Now Available

Hotel Block Active Today! Wiesner-Chianese/Treichler Wedding Block at $164/night. There are only rooms available for Sunday night at the $164 rate. Saturday night is at normal rate. Discounted rate EXPIRES 8/14. A few rooms still available!

Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square

Round Trip transportation will be provided from these two hotels to the wedding venue, which is a 30 minute drive from the hotels. You can also select another downtown Lancaster Hotel or AirBnB and take advantage of the Lancaster Marriott Penn Square Shuttle. Please RSVP which shuttle you plan to take. There will be a 4:15 and 5:15 Shuttle from each of the two Marriott hotels to the wedding venue (arriving at 4:45 and 5:45 respectively). You MUST RSVP for one of these shuttles if you plan to take one to the venue. Shuttles will be cycling between these two hotels throughout the event. You do not need to sign up for a return shuttle, but please be advised that the last two shuttles will be at 10:30 pm and 11:30pm. After the 11:30pm departure, shuttle service will not be available. The wedding coordinator's phone number will be provided here for any questions for the day of the wedding only. Any other questions should be directed to Paul and Jule.

Hotel to Venue Transportation

Lancaster is easy to reach via Amtrak from New York, DC, Trenton, Philadelphia, and other destinations. Take the train to LNC and you can walk to the Penn Square Marriott in Lancaster in 20 minutes, or take a taxi/uber.

Lancaster Amtrak

Hotel block under Treichler/Wiesner-Chianese. Rate is $144/night and rooms are available for Saturday and Sunday in the block. Transportation provided to and from the wedding venue from this hotel. Parking is included.Limited availability still for rooms with 2 Queen Beds.

If you love places like Philadelphia's Reading Terminal Market or New York's Essex Market, you will really enjoy what's on offer at Lancaster's Central Market! Lots of vendors specializing in local food and crafts. It's a great place to sample what Lancaster has to offer!

Lancaster Central Market

Paul and I are both big fans of this artist's work and were delighted to find that there is a small museum dedicated to him in Lancaster! It's small, but worth it.

The Demuth Museum

We have not had the chance to "experience" Turkey Hill yet, but it's about 5 minutes from the venue. If you've got some extra time, make a reservation to learn about how Turkey Hill ice cream is made. You can also choose to get a ticket for the Tasting Lab, where you can make your own ice cream flavor! Unlimited tastes included!

Turkey Hill Experience

We have not had the chance to eat here yet, but if you're looking for fine dining in a beautiful and unique setting, this place will not disappoint. They also have live jazz on Friday and Saturday, and a piano bar!

The Belvedere Inn

We stopped here when we needed a spot of lunch and were delighted by their tasty range of vegetarian and vegan options! Large portions, local food, fun reading material posted on the walls - what's not to love?

The Seed

Fun Fact: Paul and Jule LOVE trains. We spent nearly an entire day here, and still didn't get to everything. If you've got some spare time, we recommend you check it out.

Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania

There are several places to check out antiques about 5 minutes from our venue in nearby Wrightsville and Columbia, Bootleg being one of them. Wherever you go in Lancaster County, you're in the heart of antique land, folks.

Anderson's Bootleg Antiques

Beautiful location and a great way to learn about Pennsylvania Dutch (German) history! Our wedding day is also make your own ice cream sundae day!
