Paul and I are both big fans of this artist's work and were delighted to find that there is a small museum dedicated to him in Lancaster! It's small, but worth it.
We have not had the chance to "experience" Turkey Hill yet, but it's about 5 minutes from the venue. If you've got some extra time, make a reservation to learn about how Turkey Hill ice cream is made. You can also choose to get a ticket for the Tasting Lab, where you can make your own ice cream flavor! Unlimited tastes included!
We have not had the chance to eat here yet, but if you're looking for fine dining in a beautiful and unique setting, this place will not disappoint. They also have live jazz on Friday and Saturday, and a piano bar!
We stopped here when we needed a spot of lunch and were delighted by their tasty range of vegetarian and vegan options! Large portions, local food, fun reading material posted on the walls - what's not to love?
Fun Fact: Paul and Jule LOVE trains. We spent nearly an entire day here, and still didn't get to everything. If you've got some spare time, we recommend you check it out.
There are several places to check out antiques about 5 minutes from our venue in nearby Wrightsville and Columbia, Bootleg being one of them. Wherever you go in Lancaster County, you're in the heart of antique land, folks.
Beautiful location and a great way to learn about Pennsylvania Dutch (German) history! Our wedding day is also make your own ice cream sundae day!
