Zach and Julie met when they each swiped right on each other on a dating app called Bumble on November 6, 2021. The rules of this app state that the woman has to message first. This intimidated Julie, but alas she persisted. She messaged a simple “Hey handsome!” and the rest would go down in history.

The love birds talked for hours, shared phone calls, and eventually went on a date to Smashburger and Zach bought Julie a shirt at Torrid in the Emerald Square Mall (RIP) on November 12, 2021. They didn’t want the night to end and ended up cuddling in the back seat of Zach’s Jeep. (That was all that happened… we promise! Haha!)

Days passed and the communication only grew stronger. Zach told Julie “I love you” on November 20, 2021, and they became official on December 31, 2021, nearly 24 hours before Zach had initially wanted to. They were both a little tipsy in Julie’s kitchen, but it made for a great story, didn’t it?

The love only grew stronger each day. They both helped one another through hardships as well as good times. They could swear they’ve lived many lifetimes together. Zach officially popped the question on July 21, 2023, in his parent’s dining room which they decorated beautifully with paper lanterns, faux candles, rose petals, you name it! It was as if it was plucked straight out of a scene from the movie Tangled! Julie did not hesitate to say yes through her sobs of joy.

The couple continued to grow their love and relish in the joys of engagement until October 10, 2024, when Zach and Julie decided to have a small, intimate wedding ceremony to truly seal the deal due to personal reasons on both sides.

And, fast forward, here we are today! Julie and Zach are getting ready to do it all over again, but bigger this time with all of their dear friends and family on October 17, 2026. They can’t wait to share it with all of you!
