For Julie and Travis, it was love at first swipe. The two met on Bumble during the 2019 Christmas holidays - where Julie was required to make the first move. Though Julie was initially hesitant about Travis' lengthy response times, she agreed to meet Travis for some drinks at their local watering hole, McCabe's, after the holidays.

The two instantly connected, bonding over their mutual love of Western, food, and general spice for life. For the next month, Julie and Travis were inseparable - going out for dinner and partying with friends. At the end of January 2020, Julie and Travis were to go to a comedy show with the Best Man, Nick, and his family - and Julie did not want to go without being official. Julie and Travis began dating on January 31, 2020.

For the next couple of months, Julie and Travis attended various functions, such as the Western Health Science Formal, and Western's Law Ball. However, the world came to a screeching halt in March 2020 when the COVID-19 crisis was announced, and Western shuttered its doors. Of course, Julie and Travis were an essential part of each others' bubbles. It was at this time that Julie also introduced Travis to her parents, Peter and Leeann, where they all bonded over the euchre table!

Julie and Travis spent quarantine getting to know each other - playing tons of board games with their respective roommates, video games, trying new recipes, and going on nature walks. It was also at this time that Julie introduced Travis to her familial passion for cottaging. The two of them became very close, very quickly. It didn't take long for the two of them to learn that they had something very special brewing between them.

Eventually, the world began to open up. Julie and Travis ventured on their first vacation together to Jamaica in February 2022. The two enjoyed it so much, that they decided to go back in February 2023. This time, they were joined by friends and family. Unbeknownst to Julie, Travis would pop the question on the beach (the day after Valentine's Day to throw Julie off) - much to Travis' excitement, Julie said yes!

Julie and Travis have been fortunate enough to share many milestones together as a couple. In June 2022. Julie and Travis welcomed their fur baby, Cheddar.

Julie and Travis are also very excited to celebrate with you all and to make new memories and share new milestones with their loved ones (for the rest of their lives)!
