Tenuta Di Casa Bruciata Hotel May 10th-14th 2018 - UPDATE: NO VACANCY
UPDATE: We are so excited to report that we have completely booked up Casa Bruciata for May 10-14! However, there are many affordable and nearby Airbnbs to the venue as well as hotels and B&Bs. To be closest to the wedding venue, search the area around Preggio, Italy.
We have secured accommodations for up to 30 guests to stay with us from May 10th-14th, 2018. Casa Bruciata is a Hamlet, on location, in the heart of the Italian wine country that boasts 9 "apartments", infinity pool, and a view that will take your breath away. Rental Car
Because we have decided to get married in the Italian countryside, a rental car will be necessary to get around. There are cars for rent at the Perugia airport if you fly from London Stansted Airport or from any of the larger cities 2 hours away (Rome, Florence).
If you are traveling in a group or meeting friends who have a rental car, you can take a train from Rome to Perugia or from Florence to Perugia and get them to pick you up at the train station. From both cities, there are many trains per day leaving roughly every hour. Google the trains or for a an easy search go to Trainline and search your departure station and arrival station.
The main train station in Perugia is "Stazione Sant' Anna" ( halfway up the hill, just off Piazza dei Partigiani), all the regional trains pull first into the outlying Ponte San Giovanni Station, then chug 10 minutes up a capillary line to the Sant'Anna Station.

Villa Marsili is a 5 star rated hotel in the heart of Cortona, the traditional Tuscan town made famous in the movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun." It was rated TripAdvisor's 2017 Traveler's choice for hotels and ranked #2 in Accommodations in Cortona. If you are not planning to stay at Casa Bruciata and prefer the atmosphere of a town over the quietude of a countryside Airbnb, we recommend you consider staying in Cortona. Cortona is a short 40 minute drive from Casa Bruciata over rolling hills and tiny Tuscan towns. Villa Marsili prices range from $98 to $170 a night. Email the hotel for reservations.

Voted another of TripAdvisor's 2017 Traveler's choice hotels, Villa Piazzano is located in the countryside just outside of Cortona and a 35 minute drive from Casa Bruciata. Called, "A Stunning Hotel" and "Heaven on Earth" by recent travellers, it is also ranked #1 in accommodations in and around Cortona. Current prices for May 2018 are listed at $193 a night.
