Thank you SO MUCH for being a part of our special day. We wanted to make sure you know what’s happening for the ceremony.

Location – 8558 Beckett Road, West Chester Twp, Ohio

The rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception are now all taking place at Mulhauser Barn in Beckett Park. We have rented some evaporative cooling fans and floor fans to help bring the temperature down as there is no air conditioning in the barn.

There is currently a road closure that blocks Beckett Road from the west, which is the west entry to Beckett Park. The closure is scheduled to be over about the time of the wedding. Since we don’t know if it will be open or not, we would advise everyone to take Union Centre Blvd. to Beckett Road and turn north. The barn will be on the right across from the fire station.

Directions

From North, South, or East: Take I-75 to Exit 19, Union Centre (IKEA is just south of the exit). Go west on Union Centre Blvd. to Beckett Road. Turn right onto Beckett Road. The barn will be on the right, across from the Fire Station.

From the West: Take I-275 east to Exit 42, State Route 747. Go north on State Route 747 to Union Centre Blvd. Turn right onto Union Centre Blvd. and proceed to Beckett Road. Turn left onto Beckett Road. The barn will be on the right, across from the Fire Station.

From the Holiday Inn Express: Turn left out of the hotel parking lot onto Cox Road. Then, turn left onto Liberty Way. Then, turn left onto I-75 South and follow the directions above for “from North”.

Live Stream

We will be streaming the ceremony live on YouTube. The link is on theknot.com/julieandneil.

Shuttle

If you’re staying at the Holiday Inn Express, they will provide a free shuttle to and from the barn and any location within 5 miles of the hotel. Be sure to schedule this in advance.

Photo Sharing

We’d love to see your photos! We have two online methods to make it easier for you to share them with us.

1. Download the app called “The Guest” onto your phone. The app can automatically share the pictures that you take during the time of the ceremony and reception with us. (You can pause this feature if you take other pictures during that time! You can also just upload them manually.)

COVID-19 concerns

Tables will be spaced out as much as possible. Meals will be buffet style, but served by staff to minimize risk. Guests will be encouraged to wear masks. The wedding party will not wear masks during the ceremony, but will be spaced apart. Disposable masks and sanitizer will be made available. Group dancing is not allowed in Ohio at the present time. There will be a first dance by Julie and Neil.

Reception

The reception will take place at the barn after the ceremony. While pictures of the wedding party are being taken, please enjoy the video that will be running and some appitizers. As soon as the pictures are finished, the reception will begin.

After checking with venues and the wedding party, July 11 is our best option. So we are rescheduling the wedding for July 11. Please RSVP by June 10.

ANOTHER UPDATE

WE HAVE A NEW VENUE. Since the church is not available, we have a new venue for both the ceremony and the reception. It's just 7 miles away. The Holiday Inn Express/Liberty Way has also extended their shuttle service to include the wedding location. The new venue is Muhlhauser Barn, in Beckett Park, West Chester Twp, Ohio. We are renting cooling fans and regular fans to help cool down the barn. If you are comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. We will have sanitizer available as well. Also, we have decided to do a livestream of the wedding on YouTube. You will be able to click on "Watch the Wedding Live" in the menu at the top of this page. It will take you to the YouTube link to watch the ceremony LIVE (and a recording will be there too afterwards.) So if you can't join us in person, we understand. We invite you to watch the video.
