Our wedding ceremony will take place at Mission San Miguel Arcangel at 3pm on September 20th, 2024. Take a step inside California's last unrestored mission and add to its history. A moment over 200 years in the making, Justin and Keira will say I do in this beautiful Spanish church.
We ask that during the ceremony you silence your phones and refrain from taking flash photography inside the chapel at all times. The beautifully painted walls of the inside of the chapel are the original brush strokes left two centuries ago. Including original 18th-century art and sculpture.
Officiating the wedding will be Fr. Roland Bunda, a close family friend of the Smith family who baptized Justin 25 years ago. Justin's long childhood friend Roy Berado will be playing the piano during the service. We ask that you sing along and celebrate with us for this special moment. Expect formal wedding attire and please remove any hats upon entering the service.
Wedding guests should park in front of the museum entrance and on the curb of the street in front of the chapel. More parking is available in the adjoining neighborhood and behind the mission.
If you show up early feel free to mingle with other guests! We ask that you arrive between 1:30 to 2:00pm to have plenty of time to park and get seated. The museum's self-guided tour will also be open before the ceremony. You can learn more about the mission's rich history and see real artifacts from California's Old West.
