The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

The ceremony and reception will be taking place indoors, but guests are welcome to walk the grounds and explore the orchard.

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures in the city before heading to the orchard. Guests are welcome to travel to the orchard at 5:30pm for cocktail hour. We encourage guests to visit some local Chicago and Indiana attractions. For suggestion, click on the 'Things to Do' section.

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

We suggest driving as the best form of transportation since there will be free parking at the church and reception; however, our hotel blocks will have included transportation to and from the reception venue.

Please arrive 15-30 minutes early prior to mass for the ceremony.

Yes, we have blocks at three different hotels in Hammond, Indiana that will provide transportation, given that we meet our minimum booking. We recommend that you select one of these options to book as soon as possible; however, there are many other great hotels and AirBNBs in the Chicago area.

Yes, we will have dinner served family style and an open bar. If you have dietary restrictions, please note it when you RSVP.

The hotel will provide transportation to and from the reception venue, so long as the minimum hotel rooms are booked in each block.

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #Coppus22 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Neither we, nor our venues require proof of vaccination, and the city of Chicago has recently lifted its vaccine and mask requirement; however, some individual businesses may require one or both of these things in order to enter. We do ask for the safety and health of all guests, especially for those who may be immune-compromised, that you please obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending.
