The story of Christian and Kacee

Picture of The story of Christian and Kacee

Christian and Kacee are the perfect example of high school sweethearts. The two of them met at Parkersburg High School in 2016. They actually met a year before they started dating in history class, but as the two of them joke and say, Christian did not like Kacee because she had braces at the time. The next year, Christian had a class with many of Kacee's close friends. While in conversation, Christian got asked who he was taking to prom. At the time, Christian had no date. Kacee was then brought up and suggested by her friends. A couple days later, Christian decided to snapchat Kacee. Christian soon had a prom date, but little did he know this was just the beginning and Kacee would end up being his wife.

High school was just the start of Kacee and Christian's journey. Freshman year of college was a difficult time for Kacee and Christian. Kacee went off to Otterbein University, while Christian stayed in Parkersburg attending Ohio Valley University. Second semester of college, Christian attended Wheeling Jesuit University. During this time, Christian and Kacee learned a lot about how to live their separate lives. Going to separate colleges took a lot of trust and hard work, but the two of them made it through the struggles of a long distance relationship.

At this point in their lives, Kacee and Christian both decided to move to Morgantown, WV and attend West Virginia University. As young college students, the two of them had many fun times creating new memories together. This is all while still figuring out what paths they individually wanted to take for their lives.

After just a year in Morgantown, Christian made the decision to join the military as an Army combat medic. Christian left for basic training February of 2021. This was a very difficult time for the both of them as they had to once again endure life separately. Kacee is so thankful for her friends, family, and especially her dog Zuko for getting her through this rough time. Many written notes and short phone calls later, Christian was finally able to come home, where the two of them finally moved in together.

While Christian was away for military training, Kacee began nursing school. This consisted of eighteen months of studying, exams, and work to keep up with. Christian was Kacee's number one supporter throughout the entire nursing program and Kacee ultimately graduated nursing school in 2022. Once returning home from training, Christian continued his education at WVU and ultimately graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology in hope to further his career and become a physician's assistant or attend medical school. Kacee is so extremely proud of Christian for following through with this program as it is one of the most difficult programs at WVU. Kacee can not wait to be there and support Christian in the upcoming years.

Kacee and Christian have always been told they have a very unique relationship, but it is a relationship that works best for the two of them. Although there are aspects in life that they are complete opposites on, for example Christian goes to sleep at 8:30 and Kacee stays up until midnight, they make it work. Kacee and Christian truly do have such a special relationship and the two of them would not trade it for the world. They really are each others one true love.
