Matt has known George since the early days at New Berlin Center Elementary and they have been friends for almost 40 years. They were teammates on the field at Eisenhower, roommates in college, and Matt serves as George's best man in 2017.

Matt R is one of Matt's oldest friends as they grew up close to each other and went to elementary and HS together. Matt and Matt were roommates for several years on Stevenson St. and Matt served as Matt's best man for his wedding.

Cory and Matt have been friends since high school and Matt served as a groomsman in Cory's destination wedding in Mexico in 2009. Cory and Matt have coached basketball together and share an interest in all things sports.

Craig might be Matt's oldest friends as their time together dates back to kindergarten. Their love of WWE wrestling as kids morphed into coaching as Matt credits Craig for getting his start into coaching football. Matt also served as Craig's best man for his wedding.

Nobody has logged more hours on the football field with Matt than Steve. They coached Generals together for many years and than Steve was the first person on Matt's first Lions staff in 2014. Matt also served as a groomsman in Steve's wedding.

Mike and Matt attended college together at UW-Madison but their friendship grew more during their years coaching Generals together throughout the 2000s. Matt served as a groomsman in Mike's wedding.

Zach is Kaelyn's brother and the most well-traveled of the Hogan siblings. While Matt does not share Zach's love of long flights and triathlons, they do share an interest in the Brewers, Bucks, and the local sports scene.

Shannon has known me my whole life ;) and she has always been someone I've looked up to. She brings such a positive energy and is someone I love to be around. She's truly the best sister!

I met Alyssa (the pic) my junior year of high school through softball. Our friendship is one I didn't see coming and now can't imagine my life without! She's one of my biggest supporters and is always down for a good time. I was also maid of honor in her wedding in 2018.

Becky (Craz) and I have known each other since 6th grade and became close friends in high school. She is such a thoughtful and caring person and seems to always know the right thing to say when you need it most. I just love her! I also was a bridesmaid in her wedding in 2018.

Lauren is my amazing goddaughter. She is very thoughtful and caring, and a great role-model to her younger siblings. I love the time we get to spend together, whether it's at family events, up north, or watching her swim meets! She is so kind and I feel so lucky to be her aunt!

I met Julia (Lois) in college at UW-Oshkosh, where we both played softball. We tried our best not to like each other at first since we both played the same position, but that didn't last long. Gaining a friend like Julia is one of the best things about my college experience. I stood up in Julia's wedding as a bridesmaid in 2018.

Chrissy (Och) and I met in 6th grade and became close friends in high school. Chrissy played soccer and we would always hype each other up during class on softball/soccer game days. We share a love for nature, being outdoors, and anything active. Chrissy also held my hand while I got my tattoo!

Iva was one of the first people to befriend me in 6th grade. I was new to the Greendale School District, and Iva and I were in the same homeroom. She is just as sweet and caring as she was back then. Iva is a great friend who is always thinking of others. I also stood up in Iva's wedding in 2019.

I met Lauren in 6th grade. I don't know if we realized it then, but we had a lot in common, especially our music tastes! We always ran in the same circle, but really became closer friends in high school and in our adult lives. Lauren is great about checking in on her people and supporting them however she can. I stood up in Lauren's wedding as a bridesmaid in 2021.

I met Becky a month or so into dating Matt. I remember feeling nervous, but within a few minutes of talking, Becky was so kind and welcoming and made me feel so much better. Becky is very caring and thoughtful, and I'm excited to be her sister-in-law!

Tessa has a fun personality and loves to make people smile/laugh. She can find the good in almost any situation and just rolls with it. I love getting to watch her swim/water ballet, play soccer, and especially tube together up north!

Avery is Matt's niece and goddaughter. She has a big heart and is so creative! I have loved spending time with Avery over the last few years. It's been so fun going to watch dance performances and plays that she's involved in and can't wait for more in the future!

Emma is Matt's niece. She is really sweet and considerate of others. I have loved getting to spend time with Emma by going to the pool, watching her soccer games, or going to her dance performances and plays!

Reece is such a cool guy. He's super thoughtful and considerate of others. Reece is always on the go with sports and it's been a lot of fun getting to see him play basketball, baseball, and football over the years! One of my favorite things that Reece and I do together is double ski up north! He's always game for anything.
