Our Wedding

In High School we both did a program at Tulsa Technology Center in Owasso for their Sound Engineering. We got assigned as partners for the first two projects and gained a great friendship. At first we didn't want to be anything more until the end of the school year when we decided to go out on a date and had been together since!

How We Met

For the majority of the relationship we did long distance as Kaelyn got her degree at Ozark Christian College and Nathan got his Rogers State University, followed by his Masters at University of Oklahoma Tulsa. While manageable with the two hour drive there were still a lot of hard times. We made it work, because we were willing to make it work and it paid off.

Long Distance

While Kaelyn knew they were going to get engaged at some point she didn't know when. Nathan went and talked to her parents and hatched the plan. We went out to Grand Falls in Joplin to take photos for their anniversary. Then he got down on one knee and asked the question. And the rest is history.

Met in High School and remained best friends for the last eight years. Have grown close through online gaming and shared interests to the point they call each other by their online gamertags. 

Cailum Ward

Roommates with Kaelyn at Ozark Christian College for a semester (Long story short, I was broke). And have remained close friends despite of it. Currently lives in Illinois after graduating with her Associate's Degree from Ozark.

Josephine Gonko

Known each other since Elementary School, Chris and Nathan have remained close friends and was a part of the interest of the Tech Program Nathan, Kaelyn and Chris were a part of. 

Chris Mims

Obviously they grew up together as sisters. From sharing rooms and bathrooms to now being able to share in her younger sister's big day! 

Kendyl Hopper

Grown up together and practically brothers to this day, Connor and Nathan have known each other since they were in Elementary School and consider each other as family. 

Connor Housley

In Kaelyn's Mentor group at Ozark Christian College and always knows how to make her laugh uncontrollably. Going to be an amazing joy to be a part of the party.
