In High School we both did a program at Tulsa Technology Center in Owasso for their Sound Engineering. We got assigned as partners for the first two projects and gained a great friendship. At first we didn't want to be anything more until the end of the school year when we decided to go out on a date and had been together since!

For the majority of the relationship we did long distance as Kaelyn got her degree at Ozark Christian College and Nathan got his Rogers State University, followed by his Masters at University of Oklahoma Tulsa. While manageable with the two hour drive there were still a lot of hard times. We made it work, because we were willing to make it work and it paid off.

While Kaelyn knew they were going to get engaged at some point she didn't know when. Nathan went and talked to her parents and hatched the plan. We went out to Grand Falls in Joplin to take photos for their anniversary. Then he got down on one knee and asked the question. And the rest is history.
