Jacob and I met online, after I had deleted the dating app but a couple of my friends wanted me to redownload it for "fun". Jacob was the first guy that came up, and his first message to me wasn't "hey, how are you?" No, it was "Who is Jesus to you and how is He a part of your life now?" There was something different about this cute guy on my phone screen. His love and passion for Jesus was very evident, even from the first words he spoke to me. As we had several facetime calls before meeting in person, I knew that I was going to marry Jacob. Our first date was by far the best first date I had ever been on, even so much fun that we decided to go bowling after dinner to keep the night going before Jacob's drive back home (to which I doubled his score and crushed him the first game... and now I'm a bowling gal😅). From then on, the rest is history. Jacob and I have definitely had our share of ups and downs, but through it all we have grown closer to each other and most importantly closer to the Lord! I am so thankful the Lord has brought us together, and I am extremely excited for the life we are going to build together, with the ultimate goal of glorifying the Lord through it all!
