The attire for the welcome party is dressy casual. We want you to come comfortably to kick off the weekend in true Charlottesville fashion! Women may opt for sundresses or jumpsuits while men may choose to wear a button down and slacks.

If you are staying in a hotel in downtown Charlottesville, there will be bus transportation to and from the wedding venue. The bus will pick you up outside of the Hampton Inn & Suites and will depart at 4:15 pm. If you want to provide your own transportation, there will be parking available at The Lodge. Once on property, you will not need transportation! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at The Lodge. Buses will leave the venue and return you to the hotel after the reception’s end at 11 pm. Transportation details for family and friends staying on property will be communicated separately.
