Our Wedding

Kait and Bear remember their love story as a number of places and a collection of people, all playing an integral part into who they are as a couple and the foundation of the life they have built together. In an effort to honor those places and people, they tell their story through the few memories they hold dearest. Where it all started: Trinity Irish Pub. Charlottesville, Virginia is where their story begins. A combination of mutual friends and too many vodka sodas introduced the two one late night at Trinity Irish Pub, where most love stories go to die. Bonding over the name Bear, the couple stood slightly too close, smiling ear to ear, giggling with each other most of the night. In leui of a DFMO, the two instead chose a friendship, or more namely, a strong beer pong partnership to last them through their second year. One night before the end of the year, Kait asked a mutual friend "should I kiss Bear tonight?" .... And the rest is history. The rest of college became a blur of firsts: first kisses, first dates, first I love you's, first family meetings. Please note: Family &amp; Wedding Party staying on property with the bride and groom will have access to shuttle transportation throughout the weekend. These details will be communicated separately.

Guests will be asked to provide their own transportation to and from the Welcome Party at Kardinal Hall. There will be parking available and Ubers will be easy to access.

SATURDAY

A shuttle bus will be provided for all guests to and from Mount Ida. The bus will pick up at The Hampton Inn &amp; Suites and depart at 4:15 pm. The bus will return guests after the reception’s end around 11 pm. There will be parking available at the venue for anyone who chooses to provide their own transportation. Please note that car services such as Uber will be difficult to order from the venue.
