As most of you know we first met at work. But we first got together after both being invited to the same new years eve party that was at a coworkers house.

The only problem was the party was in Asheboro and I was stuck at my parents house in Stokesdale with a dead car battery and no way to get to the party.

So I texted the host of the party and told him I couldn't make it. We texted back and forth for a bit with a few ideas on how I could come, but eventually I gave up on going to the party. Well about 20 minutes later the host texts me back and says "Hey Dylan (the apprentice from work) is offering to come pick you up. Do you still want to come to the party?". At this point I had taken off my makeup and was in my pjs. It was almost 11:00pm. I told the host not to let this poor sweet guy drive over an hour to pick me up. He would miss the ball drop and wouldn't get to enjoy the party. So Dylan stayed at the party and I went to bed. But I kept thinking about it next day. So I decided to DM Dylan on instagram and tell him thank you and how sweet it was to offer to pick me up. And we hit it off.

From there we started talking which led to FaceTiming, which eventually lead to our first date and the rest is history!
