Chris and I connected quickly over a shared love for music.

Our 3rd date was a day around Sandy Springs. We had to see a park called the Abernathy Greenway.

Chris joined me on a day trip to Greenville, SC during my fall break off work.

I love hearing Chris preach! Chris invited me to watch his church online.

One of our favorite dates was Chalktober Fest in Marietta. We revisited a spot from this date on the day of the proposal.

Chris's first 5K and a great experience learning to run together! This was another spot we revisited during the proposal day.

Our favorite type of date is visiting a downtown area. We explored downtown Decatur, and Chris even found a special glass blowing event happening there.

We have a special love of coffee shops. We took advantage of some of my time off work to drive out to one of Chris's favorite places in Dallas, GA called Good Stuff.

Another 5K! It's the Black Family tradition to run the Gobble Jog 5K on Thanksgiving in downtown Marietta. Who knew that this 15 year-strong tradition would be so close to where Chris is living.

Chris and I started reading and discussing the book, The Meaning of Marriage. For our chapter 1 discussion, we went back to our first date spot at Land of A Thousand Hills coffee shop in Roswell, GA.

More coffee dates :) This was after Chris came and had lunch with me at work on a Friday afternoon, and met some of my coworkers.

We traveled to Berry College to see one of Chris's favorite artists- Andrew Peterson.

Chris and I have birthdays exactly 1 week apart, so we had a family birthday dinner together.

I have loved worshipping and serving alongside Chris at his church, which will be my church now too!
