Chris took us on an adventure and a walk down memory lane as he planned out seven places for us to go. Each place had a special reservation waiting for us and marked a significant point in our relationship in some way.

As we visited and sat in each spot that was a previous date spot, we reminisced on some of the pivotal conversations that happened there and how they held meaning in our growing relationship.

1. Breakfast at Cafe Clement (a spot from date #2)

2. A bench we sat on in a nearby park during Chalktober Fest (a previous date)

3. Sandy Springs - specifically the space where we ran our first 5K together

4. Brook Run Park - a spot from date #3

5. Summit Hill Coffee - another previous date spot

6. My parent's house! The space where we spent Thanksgiving, but also recognizing the value of family in our lives.

7. Gibbs Garden

At the seventh spot, we revisited Gibbs Gardens, a place we had the opportunity to visit towards the end of its blooming season in the fall. This time we were seeing the start of a new season with spring popping up. Chris talked about how we have shared seasons of life together, but we have also learned both apart and together more about how each season in our life has played a purpose.

Then he got on one knee right in the mud, and asked me to be the one by his side through all the seasons of life.

I said yes!
