Kaitlyn and Nick first met in 2020 when Kaitlyn began working as a medical assistant at Golden Triangle Internal Medicine and Geriatrics in Beaumont. Nick had already been working in IT there for some time, and soon they became coworkers. As they got to know each other, they realized they might be more than just friends. Nick would find opportunities to talk to Kaitlyn, and Kaitlyn would ask Nick for help with the simplest problem. Thanks to the matchmaking efforts of their coworkers, they went on their first date to Little Woodrows a month later. Nick even planned an office Halloween party just hoping that Kaitlyn would show up!

Since that first date, Kaitlyn and Nick have been inseparable. They officially became a couple on December 24th, 2020, and have now been together for nearly four years. Both describe their first date as feeling like meeting someone they had known forever, with an instant and effortless connection. They share a love for traveling, video games, movies, and discovering new hobbies together. Their adventures have taken them to many places. Favorites including New Orleans, the Bahamas, The Ozarks, Costa Rica, London, and Paris—where Nick proposed! They also have two beloved fur babies, Ruby and Caesar.
