Ethan and Kaitlyn both grew up in the Arkansas Valley and attended Swink School, although Kait later transferred to Fowler. Interestingly, Ethan's mother was even Kaitlyn's third-grade teacher. After high school, they pursued their education in different places before returning home. Ethan went to Gunnison and Texas, while Kaitlyn headed to Grand Junction and Denver.

Despite spending most of their lives in the same valley, Kait and Ethan didn't meet until 2022. It took Ethan some time to make the first move, but after quick trips to Sonic and long phone calls, they hit it off.

They've enjoyed many memorable experiences together, such as Kait's first ice fishing trip with Ethan's family and introducing him to her enormous family gatherings. When they're not at work or on the farm, you can find them having dinner at the Caspers' house, gardening, and hanging out with their dog, Echo.

Ethan and Kaitlyn picked out her ring together on May 11th after attending a Turnpike concert at Red Rocks the previous evening. Ethan officially proposed on June 10th.
