Her Side

and their favorite memories with Kait.

Hailey Smith
Hailey Smith - Maid of Honor
At Kait's high school graduation I was sitting with the band, and took a video of her walking across the stage. The best part is that during this I am saying "I don't know why I'm crying, I don't even like her," which sums up our relationship.

Wayyy too many. The entire summer after senior year of high school. Kait coming to visit me in Boulder. Going to Bands in the Backyard. Church camp. Christmas break in Breck. I could go on and on.

My favorite memory is from our trip to Puerto Rico! We spent that trip together, just the two of us. I learned so much about Kait, like how she can wake up, pack, and be ready for a flight in about 15-20 minutes. That trip was a blast, but I’m also so lucky to get to work with her everyday!
Julia Freeman
Julia Freeman - Bridesmaid
My favorite memory of us were all of the times as children when we would have cousin sleepovers. My most cherished childhood memories are from when we would go to the airport, county fairs, and just spend quality time with each other.
Josie Freeman
Josie Freeman - Junior Bridesmaid
I used to love when Kait would take Julia and I to the Fowler pool or the Wipeout when we were little.

Making sand art one summer with Kait, Evan, and Hailey on the porch at Grandma Cheryl’s house.

His Side

and their favorite memories with Ethan.

Clay Hirakata
Clay Hirakata - Best Man
Ethan and I share too many memories for me to pick just one, but of the funniest was when we driving on Highway 50 and 2-3 alpacas halted traffic. Rather than stopping traffic like everyone else I just slowed down and drove through. Except I drove close to the alpacas, and Ethan was hanging out of the window trying to get each of them as we went by.

Ethan and I were with Clay one night checking water. Came across a coyote out in Jared’s Circle by Jerre’s house and the chase was on. We ended up grabbing the 2 seater gator and a spotlight, of course it being a 2 seater someone had to ride in the back. And that was Ethan. So we take off chasing this coyote and every time we flew under the pivot we’re screaming duck because Ethan’s standing up in the back holding on to the roll bar and a spot light. We chased this thing all over this circle. The three of us are dying laughing from the chase and yelling duck every two seconds to Ethan. I think what made it funnier was the “woah” we would all do every time he ducked so the pivot didn’t clothes line him. The coyote takes off towards the hay shed, and the only way to get to it is to cross a cement ditch. The ditch is half full of water, and we end up high centered. Clay's driving, Ethan's pushing, and I'm standing to the side trying to push. When it grabbed traction the back tires showered Ethan with water, it looked like something out of a cartoon. When it was all said and done, the coyote got away.

I have an abundance of memories growing up with Ethan. We were constantly playing in the dirt making "dirt cities", constructing elaborate forts with any materials available (pallets, bins, seep weeds), and later using those forts in intense airsoft wars. Injuries were not uncommon when running through the dark in the heat of battle among tractor implements, scrap metal, and... fence lines. But we survived. One memory that makes me chuckle was when Ethan and I used some aluminum tubing as blow-dart guns with nails as ammunition. These were typically used outside... except for when we would practice our aim by shooting from the far end of my room, across the hall, and sticking the nails into the far wall of Ethan's room. Of course, we covered up the evidence with posters, but that didn't hide it forever (sorry Mom!).

My favorite thing about Ethan is you never know what’s going to happen, you might spend your night playing corn hole, fishing at the spot, or setting up a blind in the middle of a watermelon field. But my favorite memory is when we decided to build a hunting chair that we mounted in the back of Clays pick up. Complete with arm rest, foot rest and a 4 point ratchet strap harness. It’s a miracle that we never got ticketed from that.

My favorite memories with Ethan are going hunting with him.
Hayden Casper

My favorite memory is when he taught me how to run the steamer.
