Joe and Katie both love to hike and explore the outdoors. There are miles and miles of hiking trails in the Charlevoix area that offer beautiful views of Lake Michigan's shoreline. Mt McSauba Recreation Area, Charles Ransom Nature Preserve, and Fisherman's Island State Park are all great options!

Michigan Beach is a family-friendly beach situated on the shores of Lake Michigan. It offers scenic views with swimming and fishing areas, as well as a playground, trails, and athletic courts. Be sure to also be on the lookout for Petoskey stones along the shoreline!

Check out the Mackinac Bridge and be sure to stop in downtown for fun shops, fudge, and food. Joe and Katie went to college about 4.5 hours North of this bridge.
