Our wedding ceremony will be at First Apostolic Church of Flomaton on March 7, 2026 at 12 PM. We would like for our guests to dress as elegantly as possible, but we completely understand that not everyone can do more more than Sunday (polo & nice jeans or khakis/maxi dress & nice-casual). Men, if you’re able to wear a button up shirt that would be great but if all you own is a polo then that’s completely fine! There will be NO white dresses other than my own as the bride. I have nothing against women wearing red dresses, but I will inform y’all that red dresses (probably bright red more than anything) is traditionally recognized as the color those who have been in relations with the groom would wear. So, on that note, just have that in mind when choosing what to wear; I don’t mind anyone wearing bright red, but most of us have living grandparents who may have a bit of a problem with this hahah. In addition to attire, please do not wear colors that our wedding party will be wearing as we would like for our close friends to feel special too! The colors are burgundy, gold, navy blue, and white. The wedding parties will be wearing burgundy, navy blue, and gold (or champagne if gold dresses look ugly lol). The wedding will be outside either by the fellowship hall (reception area) or the open lot by the church. The only reason the wedding would be inside would be due to weather changes. Whichever area is NOT used for the ceremony will be overflow for the reception.
