The Milwaukee Public Market is full of fun shops and was just voted the best public market in the USA. Located in the historic third ward, this is a great stop to check out. It's also a great place to get some cheese, chocolate, and other local goodies to take home!
This beautiful park sits along the lake near the heart of downtown and is the perfect place to take an afternoon stroll! It offers views of prairie grass and wildflowers, Lake Michigan, the iconic Summerfest grounds, and the Milwaukee skyline. You may recognize the site from Will and Kameron's engagement photos.

Check out one of the many Beer Gardens the Milwaukee area has to offer. There are plenty to choose from, and each features a different assortment of beer, snacks, and outdoor seating. Some of our favorites include the South Shore Terrace and the Estabrook Beer Garden.
You can't leave Milwaukee without getting some famous local custard. One such Milwaukee staple is Leon's, offering some of the most fantastic custard you will ever have. This family-owned drive-in restaurant has been open since 1942. Fun fact: artwork of Leon's hangs in Kameron's office in the Milwaukee courthouse. Everything on their menu, from their tin roof sundae to their shakes, is truly delectable and is worth the small detour.
Looking for iconic burgers and even more iconic Wisconsin Custard? Kopp's frozen custard is a popular Wisconsin and Milwaukee staple. There are three locations around the Milwaukee area, so choose carefully. At certain Kopp's, you may find cattle or waterfalls (not clickbait, as Kameron and Will may or may not have already visited all three locations).
Try their flavor of the day, or a classic sundae! Kameron's favorite is the Kopp's Special.
The Basilica of Saint Josephat is a Milwaukee must-see if you like checking out great churches. You can catch the Sunday morning mass, or stop by to look at the Basilica and catch a tour.
Taking a boat tour through Milwaukee is a fantastic way to get to know the city, with its historic roots, growth, and beautiful architecture. It's also a great way to take in the beautiful, scenic views of Lake Michigan. There are several tour companies that do a fantastic job, including Edelweiss tours and the Milwaukee Boat Line Company.
Milwaukee is known for its beer, and the Miller Brewery tour is a classic. They have limited hours and require booking in advance, so plan ahead if you are interested in this one!

Milwaukee is home to the Harley-Davidson headquarters and their museum, especially popular among motorcycle and car enthusiasts.
The Milwaukee Art Museum is a Milwaukee favorite. Designed to look like a bird, its "wings" open during the day ("flap" at noon) and close at night and during windy weather. Check out the art, or even just check out the scenic building overlooking the lake.
Visit The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, AKA, "The Domes," where you walk through three different large glass domes, each featuring a different ecosystem. Learn about fascinating plants, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Food suggestions for the weekend? Kameron and Will swear by La Mesa's empanadas on Brady Street — don't miss it!
