We cannot wait to have you there on our special day, to see us get married and celebrate alongside us.
Sam and I first met back in 2014, during lifeguard training for a summer camp. The camp was called Camp Widgiwagan which means close, lifelong friend. I feel the beauty of our relationship is that it truly encompasses just that, a close, lifelong friend. After summer camp, we remained good friends until July of 2016, when we officially began dating.
Over the years we have braced the ups and downs of life together. We have grown together, continuously encouraged one another to be the best version of ourselves, and strived to always keep God as our foundation.
If I had a phrase to summarize Sam it would be unwavering support. He has always been my confidant and has been by my side when I needed support the most. I feel we have an understanding of one another that is unspoken.
I appreciate and love the person that Sam is and the lens through which he views life. I am overjoyed for this next chapter of life in marrying Sam, where we get to start a family together and have the opportunity to grow old together. I am looking forward to celebrating our wedding day with you all.
Karah and I met in the summer of 2014, working at a summer camp. My first memory of her was watching her care for her four to six year-old campers. Her loving demeanor was second nature. We became friends before I left for Auburn in the fall, and kept in touch when I would come home to Nashville for the holidays.
When I moved back, she was one of the first people I reached out to. I told my friends “Karah’s the kind of girl I’d like to marry!” we grew closer over the spring, and in the summer of that year, after asking more than once, she agreed to be my girlfriend.
Since then, we’ve helped one another to grow, and our love has grown too. We’ve explored around the country, and carried each other through many highs and lows.
I’m overjoyed that I get to spend the rest of my life with Karah, and grateful that the lord blessed me with a wonderful wife.
