Air Travel
If arriving by air, there are two airports in Chicago (O'hare and Midway). With either airport, you can opt for taking a taxi/ride share service (Uber, Lyft) or the train to our hotel blocks at The Robey and the Kimpton Allegro Hotel.
From O'hare, take the Blue Line. If staying at The Robey, take the Blue Line to the Damen stop. If staying at the Kimpton Allegro, take the Blue Line to the Clark/Lake stop.
From Midway, take the Orange Line to the Clark/Lake stop. If you're staying at the Kimpton Allegro, it's just a short walk from the Clark/Lake stop to the hotel. If staying at The Robey, transfer to the Blue Line at Clark/Lake and take the Blue Line to the Damen stop.
Driving and Parking
If you are driving to Chicago, onsite valet parking will be available at both of our hotel blocks, however it will be at the expense of our guests. Complimentary onsite parking will be available at our venue, Salvage One.
We highly recommend taking advantage of parking your car for the weekend and forgetting all about it! Karen regularly uses a web based application for discounted parking in the city, https://spothero.com/. Just plug in the location you'd like to park near and the dates/times you'd like to leave your car parked, and you can find great discounts.
The "L" and Public Transportation
Chicago has a wonderful public transportation system (https://www.transitchicago.com...) including several train and bus routes. We are also happy to assist guests with familiarizing themselves with ordering 'cabs' through Uber and Lyft.
Kimpton Hotel Allegro
There is a block of rooms at the Kimpton Allegro Hotel in the River North neighborhood. There are a few ways you can book to make sure you are under our room block. To secure the group rate, reservations must be made no later than September 25th, 2018. Please consider booking early so that we will know if we need to add additional rooms.

Parking rates for the Kimpton Allegro are $63 per day. We recommend carpooling and checking out Spot Hero to find great discounts on parking. The Robey
Historic Art Deco Skyscraper in the heart of the Wicker Park neighborhood. Eat and drink like a local in one of Chicago's most vibrant neighborhoods. Or, hop on the "L" of in a taxi to easily get to the heart of the city.
Air BnB
If you'd prefer not to stay in a hotel, Air BnB or VRBO are great options!
Our venue, Salvage One, is located at 1840 West Hubbard Street which is in the West Town neighborhood. We recommend staying in any of the following Chicago neighborhoods:
