The main color is a claret red, with ivory and light pink as the accent colors. The bridesmaids will be wearing claret red, and the groomsmen will have black suits.
What could we do in between the Mass and reception?
There are many places to stop at before the cocktail party at four. Pugliano's Italian Grill is a local restaurant and bar where you can enjoy good Italian food. Another recommendation is John Anthony's which is relatively close to the church. If you are getting a hotel room, you can also use this time to check in.
Will transportation be provided?
No transportation will be provided from the church to the reception, or from the reception to the hotel.
Nuptial Mass
What should I expect at a nuptial Mass?
There are four parts to the Mass: the Introductory Rites, Liturgy of the Word, Liturgy of the Eucharist, and the Concluding Rites. Readings and prayers may sound different because of it being a nuptial Mass. After the homily, the sacrament of marriage will be celebrated through giving consent and the exchange of vows. The bride and groom will also exchange rings as a sign of their fidelity. After the consecration and Our Father prayer, a special blessing will be given to the couple. Before the concluding rite, the bride and groom will offer a flower to the Virgin Mary and pray for her intercession as they begin the new sacrament together. For the concluding rite, the priest offers a final blessing before being dismissed. The bride and groom will first be dismissed, followed by the rest of the wedding party.
What should I do during the Liturgy of the Eucharist?
The Church professes that Christ becomes truly present in our midst during Mass under the appearance of bread and wine. While this is the appearance, the substance is the real flesh and blood of Christ. Catholics in a state of grace, who have kept the normative fast, and are unaware of any mortal sin, may receive Holy Communion.
The Church respectfully asks that, if you are not a practicing Catholic or have committed a mortal sin and have not yet made it to Confession, you refrain from receiving Holy Communion. You are more than welcome to come to the altar during communion and receive a blessing from a priest. Simply cross your arms over your chest as your approach the priest to let him know that you would like a blessing. All are loved and welcome.

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction
In the RSVP, please note what allergies you have. If you have any specific concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the bride and groom with questions.
What wedding traditions should I expect?
At our wedding, we will have some old traditions that include our personal twist. There will be a bouquet toss, but the men will toss a football rather than a garter. There will also be a money bride dance...but without the money! No need to put the money in the bag, just come up and dance with the bride when the time comes! There will also be two line dances to unconventional songs - Stayin Alive and Beat It. You can learn the dance moves under the "Dances" tab.
