Ubers works in Cartagena; plenty of taxis will be lined up outside the airport (it should cost about $20,000 - 25,000 COP * $7-10 US dollars*. Confirm this with your driver in advance). Pay in cash COP.

Alternatively, you can organize transportation in advance through Gema Tours. You can call them or use the app WhatsApp. Gema Tour also offers tours in Cartagena and all of Colombia if you wish to visit other places during your time there.

Outside of baggage claim, there is a place to exchange money or ATMs in the airport's departure area. You can always reach out to your local bank back at home ( most of the banks in the States have other countries currencies.)
