The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a non-profit, 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, publisher, and art gallery founded in 1952. It features two miles of walking paths traversing 21 acres of desert landscape. It is one of the most visited attractions in Southern Arizona!
This is one of our favorites and only a 25 minute drive from the venue! Wear sunscreen and bring a hat :)
The Pima Air & Space Museum is an aerospace museum less than 30mins away from the venue! It features a display of nearly 400 aircraft spread out over 80 acres on a campus occupying 127 acres.

Picacho Peak is famous for its distinctive geological formation, its historical significance as the site of the westernmost battle of the American Civil War, and its rugged hiking trails that lead to a challenging summit with beautiful desert views.
Check out Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch nearby if hiking isn't your preference!
Only a 33 minute drive from the venue, Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is a third generation family owned ostrich ranch in Picacho Peak, Arizona. The ranch houses a large variety of animals, including ostriches, donkeys, goats, deer, ducks, bunnies and rainbow lorikeets.
We have never been there, but everyone tells us it's so much fun!
