A first date brunch in Pittsburgh followed by nothing short of a whirlwind—an impromptu tour around the city, filled with laughter and easy conversation. It felt as though we had known each other for years, even though we had just met.


It was clear that this was the start to something great, but then just as quick as it began, life threw us a curveball: COVID hit. We lost touch after briefly dating, but we never stopped thinking about each other. We both carried the memory of our moments together, and even though time passed, something about it always stuck with us.


Fast forward, and fate worked its magic again. We reconnected and decided to meet at one of our favorite spots: Floor 2 at the Fairmont. There, over our shared love of espresso martinis, we picked up right where we left off. Hours flew by as we talked, laughed, and enjoyed the kind of conversation that made it feel like we had never been apart.
