The wedding will be held outdoors at a renovated two-story barn and covered patio.

The average high temperature in mid to late September is the mid to upper 70s with a low of 59 degrees.

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres and a charcuterie spread at cocktail hour followed by a Western NC BBQ buffet with smoked chicken, pork BBQ, and all the southern fixins'.

Many people think we live in the boonies, but we are very close to town and necessities! Shelby has a beautiful uptown area and is most well known for being the home of Earl Scruggs. If you are a bluegrass fan, I highly recommend visiting the Earl Scruggs Center while you're here! Shelby is located 15-20 minutes from the venue and New View Farm. You'll find everything you need here from gas to groceries, fast food, and shopping for any last minute needs.
