Nestled in the heart of Shelby, NC just a few miles from the Flint Hill Community where Earl Scruggs was born and raised, the Earl Scruggs Center is located in the beautifully restored 1907 Cleveland County Courthouse.

Held on Saturdays from 8 am to noon in September.

We provide easy access to food produced in Cleveland County and the surrounding 50 miles, and are proud to showcase the family-owned farms and small businesses in our region.

Our vendors have deep roots in the rolling soils of the North Carolina Foothills, producing an astonishing array of fresh fruits & vegetables, meat & poultry products, baked goods, artisan cheeses, honey, nuts, herbs and other specialty food items.

Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge has been serving up award winning BBQ on Highway 74 in Shelby, North Carolina since 1946. We are one of the only few places left that slow cooks pork over hickory all night long.

Our beers are handcrafted in small batches using the finest ingredients possible. We take pride in sourcing our ingredients from around the world and from our own backyard in North Carolina. Quality ingredients are the start of a great brew. Beer is a lot like food, the better the ingredients the better the end product!

The park boasts elevations up to 3,000 feet, an 80-foot waterfall, and nearly 50 miles of trail for hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers. *Adam and Karyn's favorite place and site of our first date!*
