We will be staying at the Yosemite Lodge. Curry Village and The Awahnee are also within Yosemite Valley.

Yosemite Valley is about a 40 minute loop by car. This is due to one way streets. However, it’s a 15 minute walk from the lodge to the chapel ceremony. Yosemite also offers free bus transportation, which is about a 12 minute ride.

Reception will be at Curry Village from 12-4. This is about 1.4 miles from the chapel where our ceremony will take place.

We recommend most guests take the Yosemite bus to the chapel from the lodge. Parking is not available at the chapel. The closest stop to the Yosemite Chapel will be Yosemite Falls. There will be some parking there as well. It’s on a first come, first served basis.

Yes. You will need a park reservation to get into the national park. If you are staying in the park at all, that counts as your reservation. If you are staying outside the park, we can provide you with a copy of our wedding permit. This would count as your reservation for the day of the event only.

There is a $35 park entrance fee if you enter between 6am - 5pm. Otherwise, this fee is waived.

Unfortunately, Yosemite does not offer a group rate. If you'll be staying in the park, book ASAP. These fill up fast and we are not the only wedding that weekend.
