We have hotel recommendations under the travel portion of our website. Our wedding ceremony and reception are located at a resort but we will also provide transportation from Carmel-by-the-Sea and Carmel Mission Inn if you choose to stay elsewhere.
Will transportation be provided to the venue?
Shuttles will be offered with pick up and drop off locations at Carmel Plaza (Mission Street, Carmel By The Sea) and Carmel Mission Inn. Schedule will be provided with invite.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Carmel Valley Ranch offers self and valet parking services for guests not staying at the resort without a cost. However, we highly recommend taking the shuttle transportation as Taxi's, Ubers and Lyft are not always reliable in the Valley.
What is the Wedding Day Attire?
The attire for our ceremony and reception is Black Tie optional. Since the majority of the wedding day is outside, we also recommend bringing a light layer as it can get chilly once the sun sets.
What is the attire for the Welcome Party?
The invitation describes the attire for the event as Garden Attire. For women, we suggest sundresses or cocktail dresses. For men, we suggest a button down and slacks or chinos. The event will be hosted outside so we also recommend layers.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.
