The jury is still out on who got Danny and I together. Marissa will tell you it's her, Kelly will debate that, and even Rita sometimes states her case. But I really believe it was Madam Secretary. Yes, Madam&nbsp;Secretary-&nbsp;the CBS political drama starring Tea Leoni that only got a 68% on Rotten Tomatoes.

One day, I was cooking a meal with Marissa at their apartment and as Danny scrolled through the TV guide, he mentioned that Madam&nbsp;Secretary&nbsp;was on and that&nbsp;he had recently binged most of the first season. I, being a huge fan of the show (at the time), chimed in about how it was the best thing I had seen on CBS&nbsp;in years. Then, as we fell in to a deep conversation about this political figure just being a mom and a wife and marches to the beat of her own drum, Marissa slipped&nbsp;away- forcing Danny and I to continue talking.





After a few weeks of Marissa taking extremely long showers, I agreed to attend&nbsp;one of his Unrehearsed Shakespeare shows. I did my hair and makeup to perfection, but then wore a Mickey mouse sweater and leggings.. because I didn't want to seem too eager. I blew that "not eager" cover after the show&nbsp;by telling Marissa that I had a crush on her roommate- Danny.&nbsp;The day after my&nbsp;first date with Danny, I went to dinner with Caleb. I&nbsp;told him I had started seeing someone new (confident after one date...). and that&nbsp;I wanted him to meet Danny because, and I quote, "I'm going to be with him for a significant portion of my life." I knew in those first couple of days that I had found&nbsp;my&nbsp;forever love. While we weren't acquainted with each others past or present, the future was extremely clear- we'd be together. I never could've imagined this love story, but what can I say? Network television does magical things.

Kate's Version

"You better get used to this face."&nbsp;I paused for a moment&nbsp;before unlocking the door to my apartment;&nbsp;I could hear that my roommate, Marissa, had a friend over.&nbsp;Why was I getting butterflies in my stomach?Within minutes I&nbsp;was laughing and trying to keep up with Kate's quick wit. In addition to her face, she informed me that&nbsp;I might as well get used to the fact that she was going to be around... A LOT. I didn't mind.

Just a few weeks later, I couldn't get her face out of my head. I kept replaying a&nbsp;moment when&nbsp;she&nbsp;popped into our kitchen with a "Hi!" and the excitement that I felt to see her.

















After our first flirtatious encounter of the new year, I worked up the courage... to ask my roommate for her blessing to ask out her friend.&nbsp;I had&nbsp;talked to friends, I had&nbsp;talked to family, I had talked to random people and they all agreed: I had to make sure Marissa approved of&nbsp;me asking Kate on a date.















"OHTHANKGODHEREISHERPHONENUMBER!" Marissa exclaimed with her approval.















Later that day, I was working up my courage again... when Kate beat me to it. After losing patience with texting back and forth, she just went ahead and asked me to see a movie.&nbsp;











I said yes, but expressed my frustration;&nbsp;I had been&nbsp;waiting until she finished&nbsp;work so I could give her a call.&nbsp;She insisted that I follow through as planned,&nbsp;so short time later,&nbsp;we pretended like the date was my idea.











On the way to the movie,&nbsp;I was often speechless.&nbsp;Kate's sharp sense of humor was much too quick to keep up with and all&nbsp;I could do was smile. Later, I talked way too much, but she didn't seem to mind. I walked her home through&nbsp;the freezing cold and falling snow,&nbsp;and we ended the night with a kiss on her front stoop.

Within our first few weeks together, I often compared&nbsp;our relationship to&nbsp;driving through town and timing&nbsp;each intersection&nbsp;perfectly: nothing by green lights. What's the Dress Code?

Semi-Formal / Dressy Casual / Cocktail Attire - our Google search tells us these all mean the same thing, which covers a lot... Ladies, throw on your favorite dress. Gents, a nice pair of dress pants and button-up shirt are great. Feel free to get a little more formal if you prefer!

What time should I be there?

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. We kindly ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to mingle and find a seat.

How far is Cleveland, GA from Atlanta?

If you're looking at other options closer to Atlanta, your best bet is on the north side of the city or in the northern suburbs.&nbsp;

Are there other wedding events I'm invited to?

What are some fun things to do in the area?

There are some great nearby towns and a fun Oktoberfest a short drive away.&nbsp;More info under "Things to Do" on&nbsp;the Details tab.&nbsp;

Where should I stay?

We have a hotel block reserved in a nearby town and some other great recommendations for cabin rentals. More information under the Details tab.&nbsp;

Will parking be available?

Yes! Our venue has a parking lot that you can use.

If I'm flying in, do I need to rent a car?

Cleveland is quite a bit north of Atlanta and the airport, so a rental car is likely your easiest option for getting around. Uber and&nbsp;Lyft are options, but we strongly advise doing an estimate before you fly in!&nbsp;

Can I take an Uber/Lyft?

Yes, these services added North Georgia to their coverage last year. However,&nbsp;there are not as many drivers in the area, so plan for extra time (15-20+ minutes) for the driver to come pick you up. If you're hoping to take a car to/from the airport, we advise you look up estimates in advance. (It may be more affordable to rent a car or carpool with a friend!)

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please let Kate and Danny know of any specific allergies or restrictions. We want to make sure everyone is well fed, safe, and comfortable.

The North Georgia mountains are a popular area in late October as locals and tourists alike come to see the fall foliage or participate in Oktoberfest in nearby Helen, Ga.&nbsp;

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn&nbsp;Cornelia at a discounted rate for our guests. It's about 20 minutes from our wedding venue.&nbsp;

This group block and discounted rate expires October 13.&nbsp;Rooms are available for both Friday and Saturday night.&nbsp;

There are plenty of additional&nbsp;hotel options in the towns near CeNita (Cleveland, Helen, Dahlonega, Cornelia), as well as&nbsp;&nbsp;Cabin rentals.&nbsp;If you're planning on staying more than 2 nights, the Cabin rentals may be a cheaper and more pleasant way to go (see below).

Pinnacle Cabin Rentals offers many locations around our wedding venue- search White County and City of Helen cabins. Find a small, cozy house for just you, or grab a group and go for a bigger party house. Just be sure to ask the representative how far it is from CeNita Vineyards.&nbsp;

Plus, if you mention that you're attending the Pancratz wedding, you'll receive a 5% discount.
