Kate and Kevin met through mutual work friends right before the 2020 New Year! With both of them not originating from California, they spent their first few months together exploring San Diego and meeting each other's friends.

In March of 2020 they were given the unique opportunity to really get to know each other during the infamous quarantine. They made the most of it by picking up new hobbies like playing basketball together, renting jet skis, and going on many hikes (much to Kevin's dismay haha). While adjusting to the new normal in 2021, Kevin and Kate spent their time traveling, especially to their hometowns of St. Louis and Boston, to continue getting to know each other's families and friends.

The past 4 years have been filled with traveling to new places, exploring all around San Diego, cuddles with Tiny (the world's fattest cat), and so much love and laughter. On November 10th, 2023, Kevin pulled off one of the biggest surprises and asked Kate to marry him and spend their lives together!

We are thrilled to start a new chapter of our lives together on October 26th, 2024 and can't wait to celebrate with you all!!!
