Snowshoe Moutain Resort is in a designated radio silence blackout zone for the Green Bank Telescope Observatory and thus cell phone service can be very spotty, and in most areas non-existent.
As an alternative to 4G/5G, Snowshoe has worked hard to provide a safe integrated Wi-fi connection throughout the resort for guests. AT&T cell service users will find some coverage, but other carriers would do best to enable wi-fi calling on their phones or use applications on your phone via the wifi such as Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, Instagram, Email, Skype/Teams, or Whatsapp to communicate while on the mountain. All resort lodging has internet within the building and a landline phone and router inside each room. There are also calling cards and phones available for purchase in a variety of shops in the Village.
Skiing & Snowboarding
Skiing and Snowboarding available for all levels. Lessons and equipment rentals available for purchase from the resort.
Splitrock Pools
Indoor and Outdoor heated pool with slide and hot tub available to all resort guests lodging on site as part of their package.
Only a Daytime guests ? You can purchase a pass for $15 from the resort.
The Central Village Shops and Restaurants
A variety of shopping, restaurants, breweries, and Starbucks is located within the central village of Snowshoe. The resort has its own ABC license so you may walk around with open containers.
Galactic Tubing
Coca-Cola Tubing Park offers daytime and galactic lights nighttime snow tubing for all ages! Tube rentals for purchase through the resort.
The Spa at Snowshoe
The Spa at Snowshoe offers massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, hair and makeup services and more!
Fairy Diddle Disc Golf Course
If you're not afraid of the cold, come play the resorts 18-Hole Disc golf course tucked into the woods. Bring your own discs or purchase some at Lake Outpost.
Snowmobiling Tours
