With COVID-19, we are unfortunately seeing a rise in hotel prices all across the country as businesses try to recover their losses. We understand that a destination wedding during peak ski season and Valentine's Day holiday can be a big financial commitment. We hope we have provided a variety of lodging options below that can fit every guests budget and needs. The resort is unique in that some hotels/properties are owned partially by the snowshoe company, and others are owned by personal residents as vacation homes/rooms. As such, there are several options to book lodging that may provide better pricing than our block or the snowshoe website.
Please use the three links below to explore pricing on a variety of websites before booking. Most locations advertised on the third party sites will say if they are on the resort, which may offer better pricing for your family needs or for those who are bunking up with others in a larger condo or townhouse to split. Our wedding contract only gave us two options for lodging at a block discount, but any of the other non-block locations on the resort website are comparable pricing and excellent options as well.

If you would like to choose one of the two locations in our block ( Allegheny Springs/Expedition Station) those will be held for our guests to reserve until January 12th if you need some time to decide. If reserving a non-block lodging, or on airbnb or vrbo we encourage you to book quickly! Valentine's day weekend is a prime season for ski resort reservations and we anticipate it will fill up fast.
If you are looking at proximity on the resort map (click here) , we are getting married at the lawn behind Mountain Lodge and the reception will be inside Mountain Lodge on the base level. All locations on the Snowshoe resort have access to the free shuttle every fifteen minutes for ease of getting around. All resort guests have their own parking near their lodging. All daytime-only guests can park for free at Top of the World lot.

Highland House (Non-Block)
Studio-3 Bedroom Options, $175-$565/ night range. Highland House is one of the newer complexes. The specific location of Highland House is adjacent to Skidder slope, between Expedition Station and Allegheny Springs in the Village. Does not include resort fee, cleaning fee, or taxes.
Silver Creek (Non-Block)
Studio-3 Bedroom Options, ranging from $135-$369/night. This lodge is just steps to the Silver Creek ski area, which provides great trails, terrain parks, and night skiing. Silver Creek is also home to the Coca-Cola Tube Park and Adaptive Sports Program. Does not include cleaning fee, resort fee, or taxes.
Rimfire Lodge (Non-Block)
Central more upscale choice for ski in/ski out

Seneca Springs (Non-Block)
Studio-2 bedroom options, pricing ranges from $195-$445/ night. Seneca is located along the Central Village Plaza adjacent to a wide variety of shopping and dining options. Does not include cleaning fee, resort fees, and taxes.
Mountain Lodge (Non-Block)
1 Bedroom Sleeps 2-4 People $199/night
2 Bedroom Sleeps 4-6 People $309/night
3 Bedroom Sleeps 6-8 People $369/ night

Creekside Villas (Non-Block)
2-3 Bedroom townhomes $470-$570 night, great for larger groups located just a short walk from the Silver Creek Ski Area. Does not include resort fee, cleaning fee, or taxes.
Mountain Crest Studios (Non-Block)
This three-story building offers studio and studio loft units from $155/night, each with private outdoor entrances for those that want to skii/snowboard. Located atop the Highland Ridge, Mountain Crest is within walking distance to Powderidge Lift, giving you direct access to the Basin area slopes. Does not include resort fee, cleaning fee, or taxes.
Alternative Lodging Arrangements
While we would love to have all our guests in one location using one of the resort options via Airbnb, VRBO, or Snowshoe Resort, we understand this may not be the best fit for everybody.
Inn at Snowshoe / Check-in
At the base of the mountain there is an older, not as updated hotel called the Inn at Snowshoe. This is comparable to a Super 8 style that may be more economical for some guests. It is still on the free shuttle route that circles the resort.
The closest city outside of Snowshoe/Slaty Fork is about 1 hour away in Elkins, WV. We do not recommend this for safety reasons, but if you are up for night winter driving conditions down the mountain after the reception and have not been drinking you can also look at the Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Super 8 and the Wyndham hotels that are closer to the $100/night mark.
