Information and FAQ
If you have any questions, please read through these answers! However, if you have an incredibly unique question that we haven't thought of, please reach out to Kate or Christopher at kc.carroll.wedding@gmail.com. (Until the second of January. Once January 2 rolls around, they are off limits and you missed your chance.)

Dress Code: Semi-Formal
Out of deference for the religious nature of our wedding, we respectfully request that our guests avoid any attire that shows excessive cleavage, shoulders, or that is shorter than knee-length. We can't wait to see all of our favorite people in their finest! (You're welcome to coordinate with the theme; for more information, please scroll to the final question at the bottom of the page.)
*Where* am I going again?
The ceremony and reception will be held at the gorgeous Whiskey Ridge in Tonganoxie, about thirty minutes outside of KC. (Yes, you said that correctly in your head. I saw those gears turning.) I promise it's easy to get to; the phone maps are all good at getting you there!
Is there parking available?
Yes! There is a great big gravel parking lot; be forewarned that if it is rainy/snowy, the parking lot may be rather messy. We recommend carpooling if you can!
I don't do these things without food...
Never fear, there will be a meal! We love sharing food with our people. We're planning a kosher meal, served buffet-style, with a few vegetarian and dairy-free options available. We are unable to accommodate any other dietary needs besides dairy-free. If you have a restrictive diet, you're welcome to bring some food if you need to; please just let us know!
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! We are providing kosher wine, and a cash bar will be available for any other drinks. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages provided.
Can my kids come?
As long as they are addressed on your invitation and included in the RSVP page, we'd love to have your little ones join in our celebration!
Can I bring a Date?
If they're listed on your invitation envelope and RSVP page, absolutely! Otherwise, the answer is no. So sorry!
So WHAT does Semi-Formal mean?
See the articles linked below! They are very helpful. We're going for a classy, timeless day, so whatever you find that fits with that (or doesn't; you do you, unless it's neon orange. Or neon yellow. Or neon blue. Or highlighter pink. Then please refrain. You'll thank us later for banning neon. It never photographs well.)
But can I coordinate?
For our incredibly coordinated friends, if you wish to coordinate with the *vibe*, we're going for jewel tones left, right, and center. The color palette is below for more inspiration! (Notice: no neons on here. See? They don't go with the colors or the vibes.)
