Our Wedding Weekend

The Wedding is on! 

Please join us the weekend of October 15-17 in North Truro to celebrate. 

 We are excited to share this special weekend with you in a place that is very special to us, Cape Cod. We have been coming here as a couple for years and couldn't think of a better place to celebrate with all of you. Kalmar is beautiful, but, most importantly, having our celebration here will allow us to spend time with all of you, and allow our friends and family the opportunity to gather safely and celebrate together.&nbsp;All wedding events are outside and Kalmar’s accommodations allow each family/group to stay in their own cottage.(We are requesting that&nbsp;all eligible guests&nbsp;be&nbsp;vaccinated to attend the wedding. We have many vulnerable guests, both young and old, and their safety is our priority.) Please come as early as you would like (Thursday) and leave as late as you would like (Monday). However, the official wedding events will happen Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.If you are unable to attend for any reason,&nbsp;please let us know as soon as possible. Provincetown is just a short bike ride away. You can rent bikes in Truro or Provincetown. 

Bike Ride

Please stay at Kalmar. We want everyone to be able to spend the weekend getting to know one another and having fun. Kalmar's cottages have two bedrooms, a living room with a pull-out couch, and fully equipped kitchens. The cottages are heated (if it is cold) and air-conditioned (if it is hot). Some have working fireplaces. All linens are provided. There is wifi in each cabin. There are also some rooms in a separate building on the premises. If there is an issue with staying at Kalmar, please reach out to us so we can help you figure it out. Our main festivities will be Friday through Sunday, but people can come as early as they wish and leave as late they want. Some of the cottages have three-night minimums, but most are only two nights. The three-night minimum can be Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Friday, Saturday, Sunday. If you have volunteered to rent one of the three-night cottages located around the lawn, please contact Kate's mother, Pat, or sister, Maura, directly. Do not call Kalmar.

You can get to the Cape easily from anywhere on the east coast by driving up I95. Truro is located on the outer cape, a two hour drive from Boston. Having your own car will allow you to travel at your own pace&nbsp;and explore other parts of the cape if you would like, but is not necessary since Provincetown is accessible by a walk down the beach, a short bike ride, or a shuttle bus ride.

You can take the ferry from Boston to Provincetown.

Provincetown has a small airport. The flight from Boston is about 15 minutes. You would then need to take a taxi to Kalmar, about a 5-10 minute drive.

There is a shuttle bus that stops right outside of Kalmar and takes you to Provincetown.

Open year round! You can walk in or make a reservation. Outside seating for tastings and delicious food from their Blackfish food truck!

Provincetown has a farmers market every Saturday and it will be open our wedding weekend! Stop by to see local vendors and stock your kitchenette!

There is one large grocery store in Provincetown- stop and shop! If you want to shop for your kitchenette, this is your best bet.

Open until November! Need to be inside for a while?&nbsp;We have the perfect museums for the entire family! The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum&nbsp;offer a great exercise opportunity for both kids and parents! Climb the 252 ‘ tall granite tower (mostly ramps & a few stairs) for the most MAGNIFICENT view on Cape Cod! Then visit the museum which houses great educational information on the Pilgrims' history (YES, the Mayflower landed in Provincetown before moving up

For the little ones, Provincetown has two playgrounds on&nbsp;each end of town.&nbsp;&nbsp;On the East end of town&nbsp;at Howland & Bradford Sts.;&nbsp;on the West&nbsp;at Nickerson and Bradford Sts.
