We both played baseball and developed an awesome friendship, we even had the chance to be roommates the following year. We’ve made some great memories both on and off the field! I first met Daniel at the beginning of pharmacy school (We attended Creighton together). Slowly, we grew closer as we worked on projects together or visiting local breweries for the occasional night out. Daniel was always staying up late working in his lab. He put in the hard work and enjoyed the benefits of his success. I could tell something was different about him when he met Katelyn. His motivation shifted. He was no longer working for himself, but for his future together with Katelyn. He took more time to think about his decisions and outcomes, especially when deciding future employment opportunities.
