Do I have to RSVP?
Yes! Please! RSVP is REQUIRED by September 5th. This is essential in planning for reception meals and to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible. If we do not receive your RSVP by September 5th, we will unfortunately have to mark it as “no” and you will be so missed!
Can I bring a guest?
We love that you want to bring others to enjoy our special day but due to the planning process, we can only allow for those named on the invitation. Your invitation will state if a plus one has been given to you.
Are kids invited?
Due to the planning process and limited numbers, the invitation will state if children have been invited. Your invitation will be made out to “The (Your Last Name) Family” if your children have been invited and “Mr. and Mrs.” if only you and your significant other have been invited. We would love for parents to enjoy this as a "date night" to celebrate with us!
What should I wear?
Semi Formal/Sunday dress will be just fine! This means: collared shirts/button ups, jackets, dress pants and dress shoes/boots for men. For women, elevated Sunday or casual cocktail dresses, (midi or floor length) and dress shoes, etc.
**We also ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, creams.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be in an open air, covered patio.
Where do I park?
There is a gravel parking lot on site to accommodate everyone!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We ask you to kindly turn off all devices and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say our “I dos.” We hope you enjoy and experience our “unplugged” ceremony in real time. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and we are excited to share their photos with you. At the reception, please take as many photos and videos as you would like and use our hashtag #happilyHarvey to share your photos!
Will there be an open bar?
No, we will be having a champagne toast at the beginning of the reception. There will also be sparkling grape juice available as a second option.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 6 pm.
Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior so there is adequate time to park and find your seat. **There is a gate at the driveway that will be closing 10 minutes prior to the ceremony. The gate will not be reopened until the ceremony has ended.**
