Yes, parking is available in many of the downtown parkades within a short walking distance to The Lord Nelson. If you have a hotel room, parking underground is available. We suggest carpooling if possible.

Yes, you can book a room at The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites for a special wedding rate! Check-in time is 3pm. Please mention 'Backman Wedding" when booking. We encourage our family members and friends to enjoy staying overnight if possible. There are also many other accommodations close by.

We will have a honeymoon fund set up if you would like to contribute to our trip. We hope to take all 3 of us on our first family trip! We have also added a few household items to our registry list.

Unfortunately we have a small capacity for our wedding. Only family members with children who have discussed this with Bride and Groom will be able to bring their children.

As our venue capacity is small, we have invited mostly family and our wedding party to join us for the ceremony and dinner. We have sent out separate invitations to our friends and remaining relatives to join us for a night of drinks and dancing afterwards to celebrate our marriage.
