Our story began with a simple swipe on Tinder. After chatting for about a month, we finally decided to meet in person. For our first date, we kept it low-key with a hike—a great way to get to know each other and enjoy the outdoors.

While we were hiking, I (Katelynn) quickly stepped in to keep Gavin safe from a baby snake, and we both ended up laughing about it. Right after that little adventure, we shared our first kiss—a sweet and perfect moment to cap off our first date.

From that day forward, we were inseparable. Not only did we instantly click, but we also felt so comfortable with each other’s families. It was clear we were meant to be together, and we’ve been building this beautiful life ever since.
