Dress code
The dress code for our wedding is Black-Tie Optional. For men we ask you please wear a tuxedo or suit, and that women wear full-length dresses.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unless specified on your invitation we ask that you do not bring extra guests, we wish to spend this day with the ones we know and love.
Are children welcome?
While we both love children, we can only accommodate them in the wedding party at our reception. The perfect excuse for a date night!
When should I RSVP by?
We ask that all guest RSVP by the Seventh of April 2025. We understand that life happens, so please reach out to us ASAP if you are unable to attend.
When should I arrive to the ceremony?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at four in the afternoon. Guest can arrive as early as three-thirty in the afternoon at the CDM Congressional Church. There is limited street parking, so we ask that you plan ahead!
Can I take photos or videos of the ceremony?
This is an unplugged ceremony! We kindly ask that all guests refrain from using cameras and mobile devices during the ceremony. This will not only ensure that everyone can be present and enjoy the occasion without distractions but also allow our professional photographer to capture the day beautifully without interference. We appreciate your understanding and support in making our ceremony a truly memorable and personal celebration. Thank you for being part of this special day!
Can I arrive early to the reception?
The Newport Harbor Yacht Club has requested no early arrivals. The doors for the cocktail hour will not open until five pm.
Will there be parking available?
While self and valet parking will be available we do ask that you only drive if there will be a sober driver to get you home safely. We highly recommend and insist on using Uber or Lyft to get to and from our ceremony and reception.
Can I use the main floor of the Newport Harbor Yacht Club
We are thrilled to celebrate our wedding at the stunning Newport Harbor Yacht Club and are grateful for your presence on this special day. To create an intimate atmosphere for our celebration, we kindly request that all guests remain upstairs with us. While the Pirates Den is indeed a wonderful gathering spot, we will have everything you need right here with us. This will also allow the club’s other members to enjoy their evening in peace.
